Refund & Return Policy

At Herring's Outdoor Sports, we strive to provide a seamless shopping experience. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help. Please review our refund and return policy below.


Return Window & Conditions

We offer a 30-day return policy, meaning you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be in the same condition as received: unworn, unused, with tags, and in their original packaging.

  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required.

If you initiate a return and receive a return label but do not ship the item within 30 days, the return will be voided and no refund will be issued.


Return Shipping Fee

A flat fee of $6 will be deducted from your total refund to cover return shipping costs.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Swimwear or underwear
  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, plants)
  • Custom products (e.g., special orders, personalized items)
  • Personal care goods (e.g., beauty products)
  • Sale items
  • Gift cards

Exchanges

We offer exchanges if the desired item is in stock. If the item is unavailable, we can issue a store credit for the return value. Please follow the return process outlined above to initiate an exchange.


Refund Process

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll notify you whether your refund was approved. If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
  • Please note: It may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Our updated Shipping Policy includes important details about delivery and shipping issues. Please note:

  • Herring’s Outdoor Sports is not liable for items lost or stolen after delivery. Customers should contact the shipping provider directly to file a claim for such issues.
  • We are only responsible for resolving issues caused by us, such as incorrect items shipped or products not in the advertised condition.
