Both the shell fabric and lightweight insulation are water-repellent, and the sleeveless design delivers warmth where you need it most (your core) in a lighter, smaller package than the jacket. The secure zip chest pocket is roomy enough to fit a small fly box. Secure zip handwarmer pockets round out the package, and the whole thing packs down into the left pocket.
